Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC/ATCN and at least one year of ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Care unit (ECC) of a hospital setting
• 13-week travel assignment
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time schedule with every other weekend required
• Voluntary on-call requirement
• Floating required as helping hands during low census periods
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license in New Mexico or Compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification from AHA
• TNCC or ATCN certification required
• CPI/De-escalation certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

Additional Information

• Coordinates and implements age-specific patient care in the Emergency Department
• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments and develops individualized care plans
• Participates in patient and family education and discharge planning
• Performs Point of Care testing procedures
• Must wear pewter/charcoal grey scrubs
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
• Previous CHRISTUS employees must have a 6-month separation before starting a new travel assignment
