Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Free-Standing Emergency Department requiring an active NH or compact RN license and 2 years of hospital ED experience.

Details

  • Full-service Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) setting
  • 11-bed unit with 16 staff members
  • Day shift: 7a-7p with 2 RNs, Mid shift: 11a-11p with 1 RN, Night shift: 7p-7a with 2 RNs
  • Staffing matrix of 2 RNs at 7am, 3 RNs at 11am, and 2 RNs at 7pm
  • Patient ratios vary
  • Uses Meditech EMR
  • 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts from 7:00AM-7:00PM
  • Every other weekend required with no on-call obligations
  • Floating required to Portsmouth ED (780) and Seabrook ED (781)

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital ED experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS and/or ENPC
  • FSED experience preferred
  • CEN, CPEN, or TCRN certifications preferred
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
  • One professional reference required

Additional Information

  • Deliver full-service emergency department care in a fast-paced FSED environment
  • Ideal candidates are independent, autonomous critical thinkers who are adaptable with strong clinical and relational skills
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
