**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!** **Job Description** - **Position:** Travel RN - Emergency Department - **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM - **Duration:** 13 Weeks **Unit Overview:** - **Location:** Corpus Christi, TX - **Unit Size:** 16 beds with 8 hall chairs - **Staffing:** - **Day Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Triage Nurse, 4-5 Nurses (including one mid-shift), 1 Unit Secretary, 1-2 Techs - **Night Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Triage Nurse, 4-5 Nurses (including one mid-shift), 1 Unit Secretary (7 PM to MN), 1 Tech **Patient Ratios:** - 1:4, focusing on low acuity patients (ESI 4 & 5) with occasional assignments of up to 6 patients. **Equipment & Technology:** - State-of-the-art cardiac monitors, Baxter IV pumps, HPs, Tonopen, and more! - Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech with integrated vital signs flow. **Required Skills:** - **Must-Have Qualifications:** - Level II or Level III trauma experience - TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS - Compassion, Urgency, and Teamwork - **Preferred Qualifications:** - CEN or TCRN certifications - More than two years of Emergency Department experience **Procedures You'll Perform:** - Comprehensive assessments and thorough documentation - Medication administration and wound care - Splinting, IVs, urine collection, and lab draws - Care for ESI levels 5 through 1 **Dress Code:** - **Preferred Scrub Color:** Royal Blue - **Seasonal Spirit:** Wear your favorite team jersey (e.g., Astros, Cowboys) on Sundays! **Unit Policies:** - Mandatory Shift Huddle at 7 AM and 7 PM — attendance required unless in critical care at that time. - EMTALA training is mandatory for all staff. **Recognition & Awards:** - Proactively climbing the ranks of patient satisfaction and employee engagement. - Outstanding performance in timely care for Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, and Trauma patients. **Additional Incentives:** - Transitioning from a Level IV to a Level II trauma hospital - Access to cutting-edge equipment and technology - A supportive team with diverse experiences **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
