Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care ED experience and TNCC/CPI Blue card certification.

Details

• Work in a 32-bed Emergency Department within a hospital setting
• Unit staffed with charge RNs, RNs, and EMT/Medics across day, mid, and night shifts
• Patient ratios vary by acuity assignment, typically 1:4, with 1:6 in vertical care spaces
• Uses Zoll Lifepaks, GE monitors, Stryker stretchers, and Mobilab equipment
• Meditech EMR used for charting
• Performs triage, assessment, conscious sedation, and splinting procedures
• 13-week assignment with a 7P-7A night shift schedule

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ED RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and ENPC
• CPI Blue card required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to patients across a range of acuities, including triage, assessment, conscious sedation, and splinting
