Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and a PA or compact RN license.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department with 40 beds
• Treats all patient populations including trauma and critical care cases
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Varied shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hour weekly guaranteed schedule with every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Uses EPIC EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CEN certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Trauma and critical care experience preferred
• Must have complete PA clearances including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, DHS Fingerprinting, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and PATCH State Police Clearance
• No declinations for MMR or TB accepted
• Drug screen must be completed within 90 days

• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient populations and acuities
• Work alongside a collaborative, team-oriented nursing staff
• Scrub color is unrestricted
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Prior perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
