Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license or compact RN license
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Strong compassion, empathy, and a team-first mindset
• Experience with emergency nursing workflows and rapid clinical decision-making
• Comfort working in a fast-paced ER environment with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus
• Preferred skills include TNCC and ENPC

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Perform and assist with common ED procedures including IV starts, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, moderate sedation, and TNK administration
• Support safe, timely interventions in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining efficiency in a high-volume emergency department
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture that supports excellent patient outcomes
