Job Requirements

• Current Kansas RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or Trauma nursing experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• ENPC or PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIH certification
• Preferred: CEN or TCRN certification
• Strong clinical knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis management, and triage
• Ability to start within 5-7 days of offer
• Flexible to work every third weekend and maintain a dependable night-shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of urgent and critical needs
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients efficiently in a busy Emergency Department environment
• Provide care for trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and other rapid-response cases
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and unit staff to support safe, timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using the facility's charting system
• Use strong communication and patient experience practices to create a calm, compassionate care environment
• Perform emergency nursing procedures consistent with a level 2 trauma setting
• Support a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality outcomes and patient safety
