**Join Our Team: Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room!** **Job Description:** - **Shift:** Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Certifications Required:** - Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license - BLS Certification from AHA - ACLS Certification from AHA - PALS Certification from AHA - TNCC or ATCN required - CPI/De-Escalation preferred - **Weekend Requirement:** - Every other weekend - **On Call Requirement:** - Voluntary - **Floating Requirement / Locations:** - Yes, as helping hands during low census - **EMR Used:** - EPIC - **Dress Code:** - Pewter/Charcoal grey scrubs **Summary:** - As a Registered Nurse, you will: - Coordinate and implement patient care tailored to the age and needs of the patient population - Ensure quality care is delivered efficiently and safely - Demonstrate commitment to the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization - Exhibit efficiency in work habits and clinical practice - Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect and consideration **Key Responsibilities:** - Meet expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders - Conduct initial assessments, prioritize care based on patient needs - Re-assess patients systematically to identify trends requiring intervention - Develop and implement measurable individualized care plans - Make informed nursing decisions and modify care plans as necessary - Participate in health education and discharge planning - Implement and document timely interventions according to patient needs - Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans - Perform various Point of Care testing procedures **Qualifications:** - **Education/Skills:** - Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient populations served - Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in care delivery - Clear and concise communication skills - **Experience:** - Newly hired nurses with 2 or less years experience will start at CN I status - Higher clinical ladder levels (II and III) considered based on relevant experience **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
