Number of Beds - 4 in Annex (a secure locked psychiatric area holding for placement)
25 procedure rooms (rooms with curtains or doors)
8 hallway beds (utilized 24/7)
Number of Staff – 88 (combined job titles)
Type of staff:
o 7a-3a –1 Charge RN 7RN 3ED Techs 2RP Annex: 1 RN and 1 ED Tech
o 3a-7a -- 1 Charge RN 6 RN 2 ED Tech 1RP Annex: 1 RN and 1 ED Tech
Patient Ratios – 4:1 (flexibility in times of acute surge)
Type of equipment - U/S IV skills, Lucas Device, Hotline Rapid Infuser, Alaris pumps, Pyxis
EMR – Sunrise/ Allscripts
Patient Population - Multiple comorbidities, NEHI (New England Heart Institute) patients- complicated heart conditions, DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, Stroke

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
At least 2 years ED experience for contract labor
NIH/CPI/BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC preferred (must for contract labor)
Adaptability

Strong critical thinking skills
Strong understanding of medical terminology (department coordinators)
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
At least one year ED experience for HCA hired staff
BLS/ACLS/PALS/MOAB/TNCC for HCA hired staff
Strong understanding of EKG interpretation
