Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a day shift travel assignment requiring strong emergency department background and relevant certifications.

Details

• Work in a 23-bed Emergency Department
• Patient ratios of 4 to 6
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend may be required
• Float policy applies within a 25-mile radius of affiliated facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI or MOAB, and NIHSS
• CPI or MOAB certification required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• Charge experience a plus
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• No specific scrub color requirements
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this during consideration
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
