Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong prioritization and time management skills, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 38
• Main Areas: Rapid, Main, POD 3 (Psych Safe Area)
• Staffing: 7 RNs for Day/Night shifts, 5 RNs for Mid shifts
• Type of Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAP, EKGs, Arterial Lines, Belmont, Chest Tubes
• EMR System: Meditech

Qualifications

• Required Skills:

• Typical Procedures:
  • Port Placement
  • Chest Tubes

Work Schedule

• 48 hours guaranteed per option
• Minimum requirement of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays every four weeks
• 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays per year
