Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Rapid Response Emergency Dept position requiring a NM or compact RN license and availability to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Room of a 47-bed acute care facility
• .Overnight shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• .Required to work every other weekend
• .13-week assignment length
• .This is a rapid response position requiring the traveler to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance
• .Weekly orientation held on Mondays

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Mexico State or Compact) currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN Emergency Dept experience required
• Must be fingerprinted and provide documentation that a background check is being processed prior to hire per New Mexico state requirements
• May start on a 14-day waiver while background check results are pending, provided the clinician is supervised
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys or state licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide rapid response emergency department nursing care in a facility serving as a major healthcare provider for Northern New Mexico
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel positions
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
