Travel Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - $1,172 per week in York, PA

Job Title: EMT Profession: EMT Specialty: EMT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: PA state license Certifications: NREMT, BLS Must-Have: PIC experience required. Description: EMT only, no ER tech. Responds to EMS calls and performs a variety of functions related to patients in accordance with appropriate rules, regulations, and protocols. Follows the relevant EMS Act and scope of practice. Candidate will be reviewed by clinical personnel to determine clinical fit. If the candidate passes the clinical review and meets guidelines, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision. The interview will be conducted by the manager. Could care for COVID patients. Tobacco and fragrance-free facility. RTO: Maximum of 7 days. Weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Candidates are expected to manage patient care effectively. Experience with AED, airway management, driving an ambulance, and performing CPR is required. Experience in obtaining vital signs and 12 lead EKG/ECG is preferred. Local candidates may be considered but will have different requirements. Travel pairs are acceptable, but matched schedules cannot be guaranteed.
