Job Title: Paramedic Profession: Paramedic Specialty: Paramedic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Certified Paramedic or Certified Pre-Hospital RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, EPIC experience required Must-Have: - Must be able to provide care for COVID patients - Tobacco and fragrance-free environment Description: Responds to EMS calls. Performs a variety of functions related to the care and treatment of patients with urgent and emergent disease and injury states. Follows appropriate rules, regulations, and protocols. Adheres to the EMS Act and scope of practice. Candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff to assess clinical fit. If the clinical pass is achieved and meets guidelines, the candidate will proceed to the manager for a final decision. Manager will conduct an interview. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required. Call requirements are not applicable. Floating between units is not applicable. All candidates must minimize time off requests to a maximum of 7 days. Local candidates will be considered for the role. Prior experience with EPIC charting is heavily preferred. All certifications must be from recognized organizations only. Additional attempts for required testing may be approved at the discretion of unit managers. Modules must be completed before the start of the contract and are billable.
