Job Title: Paramedic Profession: Paramedic Specialty: Emergency Medical Service Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the last 2 years License: Current certification in the relevant state or approved EMT reciprocity along with proof of FBI fingerprint check if applicable. Certifications: BLS ACLS Paramedic Certification (Equivalency) FEMA ICS 100 Certification FEMA ICS 200 Certification FEMA ICS 700 Certification PALS Must-Have: Current VA Certification or approved EMT reciprocity is required. IV proficiency is preferred. Hazmat Awareness certification is preferred but not required. Description: Paramedics are needed for 12-hour night shifts. This position is non-driving. Cancellations may occur up to 36 hours prior to assignment based on census. Uniform pants and shirts will be provided. The position requires a minimum of one year of like experience within the last two years. Current VA certification is essential; if no VA certification exists, approved EMT reciprocity and proof of FBI fingerprint check are mandatory. If applying from out of state, national certification is required. All applicants must hold current AHA ACLS and PALS certifications. Completion of FEMA ICS 100, 200, and 700 courses is required.
