Travel Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - $1,780 per week in Laramie, WY

Job Title: Paramedic Profession: Nursing Specialty: Paramedic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varies - ALL Hours per Shift: Guaranteed 36 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Valid State Paramedic License Certifications: CPR and ACLS certifications preferred Must-Have: Direct patient care experience Description: Provides direct patient care within the scope of license or under the supervision of a physician and within pre-established rules, regulations, and protocols. Administers emergency medications in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State Scope of Practice for Paramedics. Accurately performs complete population-specific patient assessments, establishes care priorities, and renders appropriate care. Accurately documents assessments and treatments of patients using the reporting system in accordance with State statutes. Assures that ambulances and station are maintained, clean, stocked, and ready for service at all times. When requested, assists with the medical treatment of patients in other departments under the direction of the provider and RN within their scope of practice as defined by the State. Prioritizes tasks and manages time, personnel, and resources to meet department goals and standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
