Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Psychiatric Services – Lewiston, ME 04240

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment

Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive behavioral healthcare facility serving patients age 5 and up with psychiatric illnesses
• Provide crisis psychiatric care for patients with major depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, psychotic disorders, and detoxification needs
• Develop and update individualized, interdisciplinary care plans and evaluate patient outcomes
• Join a dedicated patient care team focused on turning lives around and promoting hope and mental wellness
• 91-day travel nursing assignment with competitive compensation

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing (2-year program minimum)
• Valid State of Maine RN license (clean licensure record required)
• BLS Certification
• Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of mental health nursing experience required
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong team player with ability to manage stress and make decisions under pressure
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
