Job Summary:
Emergency Room Holding Area Specialist located in Central City, Nebraska. This position involves working primarily in the emergency room holding area with floating to the emergency room. The role requires providing care in an acute care setting with a focus on patient stabilization and adherence to facility protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 1900-0700 hours. Every third weekend. No call required.
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) experience, including ER skills checklist, ACLS (American Heart Association or ARC), BLS (American Heart Association or ARC), TNCC certification, charge experience, and EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 12 months. Valid license to submit.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must not have worked for the organization within the past 12 months.
    • Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
    • Call-off or cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours per 13 weeks with a two-week notice.
    • Non-billable orientation hours total 12 hours.
    • Position is in an Acute Care Division with a Trauma Level designated as CAH (Critical Access Hospital).
