• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 – $1,910
• Location: Wichita Falls, TX 76301 (North Texas travel nursing opportunity)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (19:00 – 07:00), alternating 36/48 hour schedule
• Biweekly Hours: Facility schedules 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Setting: Level II Trauma Center; STEMI and Stroke Certified Facility
• Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary

Job Requirements (ER RN / Travel Nurse)

• Minimum 2 years recent ER RN experience in a high-volume or trauma facility (3 years preferred)
• Travel nursing experience required (experienced travel ER RN preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse license in hand before start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must be able to complete lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted (seeking travel nurses outside 50-mile radius)

Responsibilities (Emergency Department RN / Trauma RN)

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care across the lifespan: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform triage, rapid assessment, and management of multisystem trauma and emergent medical and behavioral health conditions
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation, emergency medications, and IV therapies
• Manage ventilated patients, chest tubes, arterial lines, and central lines; provide advanced airway management
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, arterial blood gases (ABGs), and EKGs
• Provide care for neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, burns, gunshot wounds, and other critical diagnoses typical in a trauma center
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records (EHR)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
