Job Summary Emergency Room Nurse San Antonio, TX. This position involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The role requires a dedicated HCP with experience in emergency medicine and the ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical setting.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Texas RN license, BLS certification, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS, at least 2+ years of ER experience.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/07/2026.
Required Qualifications: Active Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS, at least 2+ years ER experience.
Preferred Qualifications: CEN certification, strong teamwork and communication skills, Meditech experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: All travelers are required to float; documentation system used is Meditech. The role involves performing procedures such as conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke (Tpa administration), chest pain (heart alerts), and other emergency protocols. Dress code includes navy scrubs; nail policy excludes acrylic or chipped polish; hair must be off shoulders; body art should be covered; visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
