Job Details
Position Description: Provides direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, communicating patient conditions, serving as a primary coordinator of multidisciplinary services, and assessing discharge planning needs.
Certifications and Education: Required certifications include Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Life Support. An active license verified through Nursys License/Certificate Verification is required.

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The facility includes a 16-bed Med/Surg Unit and a 2-bed Intensive Monitoring Care Unit. Staffing typically consists of 2 RNs with a mid-shift of either an LVN or RN. The emergency department offers 24/7 care for adults and pediatrics, with rapid stabilization and transfer for higher levels of care as needed. The unit uses Compass/Cerner electronic health records and requires navy blue scrubs or a scrub jacket.
