Job Summary Emergency Room Nurse Tuscalaoosa, Alabama. This position involves providing high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced ER environment. The role requires flexibility to float to other units and hospitals, with an emphasis on patient safety and efficient clinical support. The position is scheduled for evening shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
Schedule: Evening shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, accepting 36 or 48 hours per week, including holidays and every other weekend.
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or a Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted); associate degree in nursing; certifications including American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 2 years of experience preferred but will consider 18 months if working under the highest level of professional license; at least 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed. Timesheet approver is designated as Lacey Dice. The position is patient-facing and not remote, with a clinical focus. EMR system used is Meditech. Scrub color is solid navy. Parking is available.
