Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves providing emergency care in a dynamic, patient-focused environment within a 26-bed emergency department. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to adult patients with various acuity levels, including respiratory distress, overdoses, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension. The position offers flexibility in shifts with a focus on teamwork and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associates of Nursing (RN degree), current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications, minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience, located within 60 miles of Wilson, NC.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE monitors and electronic health records (EHR), Meditech experience preferred.
• Additional Information: The emergency department has 26 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-5 depending on acuity. Equipment includes GE monitors and standard ED equipment. The role requires a team-oriented individual with an engaged and positive approach, able to handle diverse emergency scenarios.
