Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: unspecified. This position involves providing urgent and emergent care in a large Level II trauma center with a diverse patient population ranging from low to high acuity cases, including Stroke, STEMI, trauma, behavioral health, and critically ill patients. The ER Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting, and certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC. Valid license must be in hand at submission.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Skills: Experience with arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, general emergency department procedures including trauma, stroke, neuro-trauma, ortho trauma, procedural sedation, spinal cord injury, STEMI, and stroke certification are preferred.
• Operational Details: Candidates must be flexible to work any holidays, with a commitment to a 7-day minimum assignment. RTO requests should be submitted with the application. Inflexibility may result in contract termination. Candidates may be required to float between nearby facilities.
• Submission Requirements: Applicants must include responses to prior experience at Providence facilities and provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years. Candidates should not reach out directly to facility contacts unless approved for an interview.
