Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Indianapolis, IN. This position involves providing direct nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Adult Emergency Room setting. The successful candidate will implement and monitor patient care plans, assess patient conditions, and coordinate discharge planning within a fast-paced trauma environment. Job Details:

  • Position: Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Level 1 Trauma Adult Emergency Room
  • Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA), valid licensure in Indiana, and 0 or more years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in trauma or emergency care, certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) is desirable.
  • Additional Information: The role involves serving as a primary coordinator of multidisciplinary patient care, fulfilling physician and nursing orders, and managing patient discharge planning. Night shift work and weekend requirements are essential components of the schedule.
