Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, acute care hospital environment. The position requires a dedicated professional to work night shifts, delivering critical care to diverse patient populations including neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), PALS, and CPI. A minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience, including patient ratio experience with a 1:4 ratio, and charting experience using Epic.
• Additional responsibilities: Managing ventilated patients, central line care/management, airway management including intubation, administration of emergency medications, interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias, performing procedural sedation, and handling trauma, stroke, cardiac, and behavioral health cases.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, at least 36 hours weekly.
• Certifications required at time of submission: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, CPI (preferred).
• License: MO license required at time of submittal; must match permanent residence for compact licenses.
• Additional Information: The position involves float within scope to meet facility needs, working with interdisciplinary support teams, and caring for patients with a broad range of emergency diagnoses.
