Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position is located at a Level 2 trauma center within a healthcare facility. This 13-week assignment offers a night shift schedule, providing an opportunity to work in a busy emergency department that manages trauma, stroke, and STEMI cases. The role involves delivering direct patient care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 1800-0600, minimum 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Current RN license in Missouri or eligible for licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association, 2 years of ED/trauma experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Level 2 trauma center, Level 1 stroke (Comprehensive Stroke Center), and Level 1 STEMI Center. Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate patient services across departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, works within the scope of nursing practice, and adheres to the organizations mission and values.
