Job Summary: Emergency Room registered nurse position available in Michigan City, Indiana. This role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. The RN will deliver high-quality care across a diverse patient population, from newborns to adults, with responsibilities aligned to the facility's protocols and standards.
Job Details:
Location: Michigan City, IN
Shift Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with minimum weekly hours of 36.
Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a registered nurse, minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room settings, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Encounter and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC); previous ER experience preferred.
Additional Information: Candidates must complete all required education modules prior to their first day. The ER environment has a patient ratio of 4:1, with up-to-date equipment including Sonosite and Bear Hugger devices. EMR utilized is Epic.
