• Unit Highlights: 22-bed emergency unit with a supertrack area serving patients from pediatrics through adults
• Environment: Level III trauma center with stroke and chest pain center services

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
• Recent Emergency Department or ER nursing experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS and PALS may be required based on clinical needs
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and emergency nursing practice
• Ability to use a variety of clinical equipment and monitoring devices
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with adult and pediatric patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families in the Emergency Department
• Use the nursing process to support optimal patient outcomes in a high-acuity ER setting
• Provide relationship-based nursing care in a fast-paced trauma and emergency care environment
• Demonstrate strong technical skills that promote safe practice and positive patient experiences
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with the care team to optimize patient care
• Support clinical decision-making and respond to rapidly changing patient needs
• Maintain professionalism while caring for a diverse patient population across all age groups
