Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This ER position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires on-call availability, four mid-shift rotations per week, and the ability to float to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Flexibility around major holidays and weekends is necessary.
Job Details
Position Description: ER Nurse responsible for delivering emergency care during evening shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week. This role includes on-call shifts ranging from 1 to 12 hours biweekly and requires flexibility to float to the ICU.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Emergency Nursing Core Course (ENCC) or equivalent, valid state license, minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience, and experience with Meditech electronic health record systems.
Schedule: Evening shifts (11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.), 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The position involves working either Thanksgiving Day or the Friday after, Christmas Eve or Christmas, New Years Eve or New Years Day, and every other weekend if needed. Candidates must be prepared to handle the demands of emergency nursing and adapt to variable scheduling requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience floating to ICU and experience working in a high-volume ER setting.
