Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Rural Emergency Department - Region's largest and most comprehensive ER with high acuity cases. Located in a rural setting, this position involves providing immediate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires flexibility, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to manage diverse patient populations.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, one year minimum experience in emergency nursing, current certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
Preferred Qualifications: Peripheral IV placement, Stroke, SEPSIS, STEMI experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: High-paced, high acuity, rural emergency department with approximately 20 beds and patient ratios of 1:4, surging up to 1:5. Candidates should be adaptable and able to work in a diverse and dynamic environment. The assignment runs from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027, with orientation scheduled on select dates as per the provided orientation schedule.
