Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing urgent care services in a busy emergency department setting, requiring clinical expertise in acute patient management, diagnostics, and collaborative teamwork to ensure optimized patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience; Iowa or multistate license or active compact license; active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certificates; TNCC certification; proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system; must have completed a travel contract within the past 18 months.
• Skills Checklist: Must be specific to Emergency Room / Emergency Department discipline.
• Preferred Qualifications: Active PALS, TNCC certificates, NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Additional Information:
  • Will float between the main emergency department and a freestanding emergency care campus.
  • Must work 1-2 of the upcoming winter holidays if the unit remains open.
  • Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 24 months of ER experience and recent travel experience.
  • Submission requires a valid Iowa or multistate license, professional references within the last 24 months, and documentation of all required certifications.
