Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position requiring an active Michigan RN license and 2+ years of ED experience.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Room department of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Required to work every third weekend, with weekend-only scheduling potentially available
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active Michigan RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ENPC accepted in place of PALS)

Additional Information

  • Coordinate total nursing care for patients including patient and family education
  • Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team members
  • Maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards as defined by the ANA Code for Nurses and Michigan Public Health Code
  • Adhere to regulatory standards including AOA, HCFA Conditions of Participation, and MIOSHA
  • Requests for time off limited to no more than 5 days
