Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position is located in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment. It is a temporary assignment with orientation scheduled for 08/24/2026, and the position runs for eight weeks. The shift is scheduled for 12-hour evenings, every other weekend, requiring flexibility to meet staffing needs.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour evening shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with orientations every other Monday starting on 08/24/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar size ED with trauma level 2 or 1, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), active Virginia or Compact license at time of submission, active VA / Compact license required at time of submission, all RTO (reasonable time off) requests must be included in submission packet.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Certification such as ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses), TNCC, or ATLC (Advanced Life Support Certification).
  • Additional Information: Assignments may end on Saturday due to census at the discretion of the client. IVS (Interactive Voice System) approval is required from the manager. No local candidates within 60 miles are accepted. The client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to the start of each assignment.
