Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse in Wichita. This position involves working nights on an every other weekend schedule, with no call requirements. The assignment offers a 16-week contract with potential floating to similar units on the same or different campuses within Wichita, ensuring flexibility in clinical responsibilities.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; healthcare professional profile; completion of Ascension skills checklist and Ascension resume; at least 0 years of experience; ability to provide two professional references; certification in CPR (BLS); successful verification of license and credentials through Nursys.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency nursing; familiarity with electronic health record system Cerner OneChart; ability to float to like units on the same or another campus within Wichita.
Additional Information: Candidates must be aware that they may need to float to similar units within the same or different campuses in Wichita. The position involves working 12-hour night shifts on an every other weekend basis, with a 16-week contract term starting October 4, 2026, and ending January 23, 2027.
