Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves providing quality emergency care within a Level III trauma center. The role requires teamwork and adaptability to serve a diverse patient population with conditions such as trauma, stroke, sepsis, and psychiatric disorders. The facility's state-of-the-art environment offers a dynamic setting for experienced RNs committed to delivering exceptional urgent care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with rotating shifts including 10A-10P, 12P-12A, and 3P-3A, all with weekly guaranteed hours
  • Required Qualifications: RN license with a minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience, certifying in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis cases
  • Unit Information: 48 beds plus flexible space; patient ratios of 4:1 in the main emergency department and 6:1 in the fast track; equipped with Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle, Istat POC, and Ultrasound Guided IV; utilizing Cerner electronic health record system
  • Additional Information: The role involves team nursing within a pod system. A social worker is assigned to the department, and the unit has an educator. The position is located in a community known for outdoor recreation, close to national parks, lakes, rivers, and charming attractions, offering an adventurous environment for healthcare professionals.
