Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Chewelah, Washington. This night shift position involves providing critical emergency care in a rural emergency department with a patient census of 10-15. The role includes floating between units as needed, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care across diverse age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring experienced and adaptable healthcare professionals.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand, 1 year of ER experience, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Community hospital experience preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience with patient ratios of 1:5, competency in charting with Epic system, and prior travel experience.
  • Additional Information: This position may require floating between units, with a focus on primary nursing skills in a rural emergency department. The role demands strong clinical skills, adaptability, and excellent patient management capabilities. All candidates should meet travel compliance requirements, including submission of necessary documentation and references prior to start date.
