Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in an Emergency Room setting, ideally familiar with urban Level I Trauma Centers. The position involves providing acute care to a diverse patient population, requiring robust clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Provide exceptional emergency nursing care to patients
Manage a patient ratio of 1:4
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care
Maintain accurate and timely charting in Epic
Adhere to all hospital policies and protocols
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma ED
Experience in an urban ED preferred
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
Strong skills in emergency nursing procedures
Ability to manage and care for ventilated patients
Proficient in managing dysrhythmias and arterial lines
Preferred:
Teaching hospital experience
TNCC and CPI certifications
Experience with Epic charting system preferred
PEL/VIP Job ID #65393594. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
