Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level III Trauma Center. The role requires flexibility to float between units and support the organizations commitment to patient safety and exceptional care delivery during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: 1st timers ER RN. Responsibilities include managing a variety of emergency conditions such as trauma, acute psychosis, respiratory issues, and pediatric emergencies. The role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing Epic charting system and adhering to clinical protocols.
• Required Qualifications: Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC. Valid state license (compact license accepted). Education and experience include a minimum of 1-year clinical experience as an ER RN.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations in an emergency setting; familiarity with Epic charting system; ability to manage complex patient conditions including trauma and psychiatric cases.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable supporting multiple patient diagnoses, including respiratory, neurological, and trauma cases. Candidates should have experience managing emergency medications, intubation, IV therapy, and patient behavioral health needs.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding prior experience at Providence facilities, along with two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
