Job Details:
Include Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (AHA), ACLS, and TNCC certifications; Iowa background check clearance (criminal and child abuse checks); mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult); recent titers from the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB); 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in travel nursing or similar size facility; strong personality fit.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The position requires full background check clearance prior to start. The hospital is a regional health center with 217 licensed beds offering an array of services, including Emergency Department, Critical Care, Med/Surg, and more. The unit typically manages a patient ratio of 1:6 with around 40 visits a day.
