Job Summary: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, level II trauma center with a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be flexible to float between units as needed and possess strong clinical skills to manage a variety of urgent and emergent situations.
Job Details:
Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and experience with Epic charting system.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a trauma level II facility and familiarity with care for medical boarders.
Float: Float rotation may be required to meet department needs and handle ED holding.
Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Candidates will be expected to work at multiple facilities within the Portland metro area including multiple hospitals. Flexibility to work holidays and to float between units or facilities is essential. Candidates must have references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years. Modular online training hours and compliance requirements will be self-reported and completed pre-start.
