Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Portland, OR. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a short-term acute care facility. The role requires flexibility with variable evening and night shifts, and the nurse will work across multiple units within the facility.

Job Details

  • Shift Time: Nights, 12 hours shifts
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Start Date: 08/31/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) experience, certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP, proficiency with Epic charting system, and trauma center experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with blood product administration, central line care and management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of various emergencies, and pediatric emergency procedures.
  • Patient Ratios: Approximate ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends.
  • Schedule: Variable evening and night shifts; 4 patients per shift, weekends every other shift or fewer.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. Flexibility with floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals is required. All candidates should be prepared to work three of the five major holidays and must request all scheduling and time-off in advance during submission. References covering the past 1 year are required, and providers will be expected to complete Epic charting system modules prior to start.
