Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing care to patients of all ages, supporting a fast-paced environment with an interdisciplinary team. The assignment includes floating between units as needed and working variable evening and night shifts.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license preferred), at least 2 years of ER experience, current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications, and proficiency in charting with Epic.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or II certification, prior experience in a Level I or II trauma center, and experience with blood product administration and central line management.
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: This position involves working in a dynamic environment supporting Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 85 patients, with a variety of diagnoses and emergencies. Special procedures include triage and management of stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients. Candidates need to have at least 2 years of ER experience, with a preference for trauma-certified facilities.
