Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) specialty nurse position in a healthcare facility located in an urban setting. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care, including pediatric and general population patients, in a newly expanded and remodeled ER department. The position requires flexibility to cover night shifts, with a focus on delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse (RN), with certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and a current National Certification Corporation (NCC) credential; no minimum experience specified but at least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an emergency department, familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system, and Pyxsis medication dispensing system.
Additional Information: The ER handles a diverse patient population, including pediatric cases, with an average volume of 70 patients daily. The facility features a state-of-the-art, newly remodeled emergency department with modern infrastructure to support efficient patient care.
