Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located at a nationally recognized academic medical center. This role involves providing high-quality acute care in one of the highest-volume Emergency Departments in the country. The 13-week assignment offers an outstanding opportunity to enhance a resume while working in a fast-paced, traveler-friendly environment. Flexibility to float to different units within the facility is required to meet operational needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-Hour Days (7:00 a.m. 7:30 p.m.), 36 hours per week, variable days including weekends and holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida RN License or Compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience, recent experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center, recent travel nursing experience, and a minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the last 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have recent EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience, with no employment gaps greater than 30 days without explanation. Unit manager interview required. Candidates must successfully complete an ER specialty-specific competency exam and an EKG interpretation exam, with a passing score of 80% on each. Ability to work in a travel-friendly environment with floating flexibility is essential. RTO during the first 2 weeks is not permitted, with a maximum of 10 days allowed for the entire contract. Candidates should review cardiac rhythms prior to start for optimal performance.
