Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Gainesville, Florida. This assignment involves working in a high-volume ER department at an academic medical center. The role requires clinical expertise in emergency patient care, flexibility to float to different units, and adherence to scheduling and operational protocols for a 13-week period.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour days (07:0019:30), 36 hours per week, with variable days of the week. Weekends and holidays are required.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida Registered Nurse license or compact license at the time of submission; minimum 3 years of ER RN experience, including at least 12 months within the last year in an academic medical center or a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility in a major metropolitan area; recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility; BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC) certifications at submission; TNCC preferred but not required; recent EPIC electronic medical record experience must be listed; no work history gaps greater than 30 days without explanation; successful passing of specialty exam and EKG exam with minimum scores of 80% and 100% identification of lethal rhythms, respectively.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, but this assignment does not require floating.
• Additional Information: Must be open to floating and flexible, unplanned time off will result in contract cancellation, and no block scheduling is permitted. RTO (Reliable Time Off) cannot be taken during the first 2 weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 10 days RTO for the entire 13-week duration.
