Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Burlington, WI. This position involves providing critical care in a 123-bed Level III trauma center with a focus on emergency patient management. The role requires supporting a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics, with a need for pediatric experience preferred.
Job Details
Location: Burlington, WI
Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Education and Experience: 2 years of ER experience, with 2 years preferred
Schedule: Weekend rotation every third weekend; up to 7 days off can be approved with prior notice
Responsibilities: Proficiency in triage, assisting with RSI and intubation, procedural sedation, restraints, blood products including mass transfusion, stroke neuro criteria, trauma activation, STEMI support
Support Units: Techs (ratio 1:10), charge nurse with patient load, bedside/nurses station telemonitoring, charting system (Epic preferred), blood product management, and phlebotomy assistance
Orientation: 1 day hospital orientation, 1 day unit orientation
Additional notes: Scrub color flexible, free parking, no float required, no on-call schedule
