Job Summary Emergency Room Nurse Martinsville, VA. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care across all ages in a full-service, acute-care hospital. The role is essential to supporting the hospitals mission of Making Communities Healthier through compassionate and efficient patient care.
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC.
Education and Experience: Valid licensure to work as an RN in Virginia; 1 year of hospital ER experience; 1-2 years preferred.
Additional qualifications: Must have completed at least one travel assignment in an ER setting.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Patient Population: Serves all ages.
Responsibilities include managing emergency cases such as chest pain, CHF, COPD, and psychiatric conditions, with a focus on delivering professional, compassionate, and team-oriented care.
