Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy urban trauma center, specializing in trauma, stroke, STEMI, and burn care. The RN will utilize their clinical expertise to coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing services in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Schedule: Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week; block schedule cannot be accommodated. RTO requests must be made up later; RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment. Holiday RTO can be requested once per assignment. Night shift orientation occurs on day shift, and staff must be available all week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license (meets criteria for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri), BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA only, TNCC, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start if not already obtained).
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma or pediatrics experience, high-acuity experience, 1-2 years in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma facility.
• Experience: 0-2 years in emergency or trauma nursing.
• Additional Information: This position utilizes the nursing process for patient care, maintaining confidentiality and professional accountability. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, coordinating with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes. Candidates must demonstrate strong human relations and communication skills, with clinical expertise in emergency or trauma nursing. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in a climate-controlled environment.
