Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Duluth, Minnesota. This position involves rotating shifts in a Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI center that manages approximately 75 patients daily. The role requires a resilient and adaptable healthcare professional with the ability to manage change efficiently.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, with shifts typically from 0700-1930 and 1900-0730. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Minnesota RN licensure, American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), 2+ years of ER experience with at least one travel assignment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and pediatric patients; trauma center experience.
  • Shift Notes: Variable 12-hour D/N shifts; may include every other weekend and holiday work, including Labor Day.
  • Additional Information:
    • The organization operates as a Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI center.
    • Patient ratios typically 4:1, but not fixed.
    • Scrub colors are royal blue; no sweatshirts or hoodies permitted.
    • During flu season, travelers must wear masks if declining vaccination; compliance is mandatory.
    • The contract includes 36 hours of unbillable hours during low census periods.
    • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
